The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is one of South Africa’s leading public universities, established in 2005 through the merger of Rand Afrikaans University, Technikon Witwatersrand, and parts of Vista University. Located in the heart of Johannesburg, Gauteng, UJ is a vibrant, diverse institution with a student population exceeding 50,000, including over 3,000 international students from more than 80 countries.
